It's late in the nite or should i say morning and i'm still awake..! Awake cos im afraid i will have nightmares if i sleep..hai..the story goes like this..on tues during band practice, mr teow came down to see us and actually spoke to Mrs Yeow about a 'new' contract. Mr Teow explained to her that in order to get 'something' from the SYF competition, he will have to engage 6 tutors/coaches to individually coach each section..which means to say that the school is investing lotsa money in the school band. Mrs Yeow being a really nice and generous person agreed to it without much hesitation. However, the school concert band will have to achieve a silver award. Should we not achieve it, there will be penalties...like..erm..no more air-con for us. Without air-con the band room tend to be very stuffy with so many people in it..wads more, there's 'work done' cos energy is used to blow the instrument..which means that, without the air-con, we tend to feel more taxing, according to my own experiences that is. Therefore, Mdm Khong, Mr Ong and Mr Teow encouraged us to work hard for the band so that we will get the result we want. I'm not saying that it's going to be easy but if we all work hard, i believe we will reach our goal and that is not just a piece of paper that says "Thank you for your participation" but a medal, a silver medal.
